Required Skills:

  • Looking for platform/board design engineers with the following requirements, and this is an immediate requirement.
  • Extensive experience as a hardware board design manager with a strong technical architect mindset.
  • Deep expertise in digital and analog system design, including power tree definition, as well as thermal and mechanical analysis.
  • Proven record of first-pass success on highly complex HDI boards (>16 layers), high-speed laminates, and advanced stack‑up and fabrication processes; hands-on value engineering to optimize BOM for both high-volume production and ultra‑reliable, low-volume defense/aerospace programs.
  • Strong strategic leadership and toolchain governance, with experience mentoring mid-level engineers and leading cross-functional teams spanning signal integrity, mechanical, layout, bring up, and firmware disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and implement robust design flows, library management standards, and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) integration.
  • Established working relationships with leading PCB fabrication and assembly partners are an added advantage.
  • Proficient in board designs utilizing Versal and Stratix FPGAs, as well as MPSoC/RFSoC architectures.
  • Solid understanding of signal integrity, EMI, and EMC principles for both digital and power electronics.
  • Successfully delivered at least one end-to-end project from high-level architecture through final product validation.
  • Capable of leading teams through schematic capture, DC drop, and signal integrity analysis and coordinating technical reviews with layout, mechanical, SI, and EMC teams.
  • Proficient in creating detailed hardware design documentation, planning and executing validation tests, identifying required test equipment, debugging issues, and preparing comprehensive reports.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across post-silicon validation, BIOS, and driver development/QA teams.
  • Experience with server platforms, BMS, automotive, and ATX-based complex HDI board designs is a plus.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Cadence Allegro and Altium EDA tools is essential.
  • Familiarity with Python and Perl scripting, along with exposure to test automation, is advantageous.
